Our Services
SPAY/NEUTER vouchers
The best way to reduce homeless animals is by spaying and neutering pets. This prevents animal euthanization. Hardin County Residents can bring in a photo ID and proof of residence to get their free voucher. The ID and proof of residence should have the same address for the free cat or dog voucher. (Example driver’s license and utility bill (or vehicle registration both having same address)
ANIMAL
RESCUE
We are dedicated to pet adoption: providing unwanted, abused, or stray pets with suitable homes.
humane law enforcement
We enforce laws related to the humane treatment of animals and investigate allegations of animal abuse.
animal protection
Animal abuse must be stopped. Our goal is to keep the animals of Hardin County safe from abuse and neglect.
Spaying and neutering are important not only to the pet population but to the health of the animals. That’s why we offer FREE SPAYING/NEUTERING VOUCHERS for one dog per household per year. Contact us to get a voucher for your pet.
- A female pet will not go into heat. No menstrual cycle, diapers, pads, stains or mess.
- A male pet will not stray. A loose pet is at high risk of traffic, fights, injury, theft, and abuse.
- Male pets will not mount other animals and/or people if neutered young and trained. Pets are less likely to be aggressive when spayed or neutered as a pup.
